My mind goes straight to the space between those leaves. My mind goes straight to the space between me and a friend today and how we closed it with feeling familiar and saying very little. Thanks for this poem.

Love the image you invoke here.

And thanks for your beautiful comment on my blog.
If I close my eyes and listen I can hear the laughter. Beautiful.
two meanings...i am guessing what...
but the laughters overcame the other thought!
That sounds like a chase i could have with my granddaughter and crackle my way through it til she caught me.
that's beautiful. love the whimsy and light-heartedness of it.
so intimate and lovely image...!
I love that there is no end to this story...
The laughter, the leaves, and all these things that come and go- so perfectly captured, here.
Lovely imagery! And sound! Wonderful.
That would make me laugh, too.
I can see anthem on my reader, but can't find it here!
It is good!
a lovely moment~
I can hear the laughter, beautiful.
I can't explain why I like this. I just do.
Just lovely. Well written.
