Snowflakes

snowflakes have nothing
to prove, they fall endlessly
improving the view

Thanks to Robert for this week's prompt, humility.

Very nice haiku, Gabrielle. Indeed, they fall quietly and shamelessly doing their thing.

Surely the white snowflakes have a point. :)
The sheer white blanket and sheets of satiny white snow helps one to appreciate even more the appearance and changing colors of nature. :) Sad we do not experience snow here at all and we haven't learn't to appreciate our blessings!!

I agree the snow is falling endlessly this winter. At least the snow keeps it bright.

I love the image projected with these words.

You certainly own a very fine feeling for nature and its content, maybe I should say for life instead. Impressed. Please have a wonderful new week.

Nothing to prove....

Thanks Gabrielle.

The vowel rhyme is perfect. This poem is so true. We can do so much when we let go of proving things--maybe let go of the self-consciousness that comes with striving to prove things.
