That is ultimately what we reach for I think. A better way to say what and how we feel, and sometimes one coice just isn't enough! Loved this, a short punch with loves notes pinned to the chest. Great job, thanks!!!
Adorable and far less than 300,000 words. ha ha I didn't get a chance to do this challenge yet but I did find my husbands tapes from 25 years ago…. His "party tapes" ;)
Gabrielle, such love of the human voice in your poem. Part of me, the musician, thinks about the countless overdubs I and other singers had to do when well-meaning backup singers didn't show up.
And part of me is in that place of all the voices in one's head, each with a different idea, task, or demand want your attention all at once. A thought-provoking, intriguing poem!
Thanks for stopping by and offering your prayers. Sorry it took this long to reciprocate the visit. Peace, Amy
