Two leaves

Two leaves

two leaves
in a chase
a quiet corridor
crackling
with laughter

Love the image you invoke here.

My mind goes straight to the space between those leaves. My mind goes straight to the space between me and a friend today and how we closed it with feeling familiar and saying very little. Thanks for this poem.

And thanks for your beautiful comment on my blog.

If I close my eyes and listen I can hear the laughter. Beautiful.

That sounds like a chase i could have with my granddaughter and crackle my way through it til she caught me.

I love that there is no end to this story...

The laughter, the leaves, and all these things that come and go- so perfectly captured, here.

That would make me laugh, too.

I can see anthem on my reader, but can't find it here!
It is good!
